Crowdsourcing

MESH unlocks the power of crowdsourcing for abstract screening. Instead of a few reviewers screening abstracts over a long period of time, MESH provides simultaneous screening by a large number of reviewers.Upload your abstracts and your inclusion/exclusion criteria. A team of ~20 screeners will start reading through the abstracts and within 1 day you can download the final list of abstracts with decisions and reasoning.

***Quality Control ***

1) Screener Vetting

All our screeners have been interviewed to ensure their expertise. You can access details relating to the screener's backgrounds and get directly in contact with them.

2) Continuous Testing

We ask our users to screen 5 - 10% of the abstracts. Your decisions will be used as ground truth against which the screeners are tested. Only decisions from high accuracy screeners are counted.The earnings of our screeners are directly related to how accurate their screening decisions are. This is an incentive to ensure thorough analysis of abstracts prior to decision making.

3) Reasoning-Based Decisions

Screeners are asked to include a reason behind their decision. This encourages critical thinking and allows interpretation of results in case of conflict.

4) Clarifications

Screeners can reach out to you to ask for clarifications on the task. Any clarifications provided will be shared with all screeners to improve accuracy.
